Virtual Machine Performance

The performance of a virtual machine is dependent on the underlying hardware.  Due to the wide range of possible configurations the maximum throughput of a virtual machine cannot be guaranteed.  The following matrix shows throughputs achieved in Ecessa's own testing using different combinations of clock speeds and cores assigned to the virtual machine.  This matrix will help estimate the hardware requirements for the necessary throughput of a virtual machine.
