How do I enable or disable WaaS/Additional Features?

WaaS units include a features menu called "WaaS" in the top toolbar in the web interface. This menu allow enabling and disabling of features. Please contact our Sales team at (800) 669-6242 x1 with any questions regarding pricing details for these features. Version 8.3 introduced the "Features" menu for all other product families (PowerLink, ShieldLink, and ClariLink).

Enabling a feature

Click on "WaaS" or "Features" in the top toolbar to open the features menu. Click the checkbox next to the desired feature(s) then click the Activate button. 

An alert will be displayed. Click the Ok button. The Ecessa device will send a request for software keys to enable the features.

The web interface will be redirected to the Set Software Keys page.

An email like the following will be sent to the recipient specified to receive these confirmation emails. If an email has not been received, please contact our Technical Support team for assistance.

Copy and paste the provided keys into the box and click the Update button. It may be necessary to reboot the device for the keys to take effect.

Disabling a feature

Click on "WaaS" or "Features" in the top toolbar to open the features menu. De-select the checkbox next to the desired feature(s) then click the Activate button. 

An alert will be displayed. Click the Ok button. The Ecessa device will send a request for disabling the feature(s). The web interface will be redirected to the Set Software Keys page but no keys are required to disable a feature.

An email like the following will be sent to the recipient specified to receive these confirmation emails. If an email has not been received, please contact our Technical Support team for assistance.
