Improvements
1. Ability to define actions for emerging threat levels.
2. Diagnostics sessions support searching by both TCP and UDP via GUI option TCP/UDP.
3. L7 IPS supports the use of country codes in rules.
4. Firewall policies support Geoblocking.
5. IPS and Geoblocking display the firewall policies that are applicable.
6. Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) can be enabled for a firewall entry.

Changes
1. QoS classifier rules support protocol option: TCP/UDP.
2. Static Route feature supports TCP/UDP protocol setting.
3. Firewall feature supports TCP/UDP protocol option.
4. Firewall rules can be disabled without changing access policy.
5. Firewall is enabled by default.
6. WANs and LANs support setting a zone - External, Trusted, and Private.

Fixes
1. Device may go through a reboot if a WAN Virtualization configuration has an out of date setting.
2. Diagnostics Traffic Utility shows no information when the following is selected: All Ports.
3. Device can become unresponsive when generating a custom email report.
4. Deleting domain simple host record or load balance record can fail if the domain is also used with server failover.
5. Hardware Failover will cause unnecessary fail overs after upgrade on 12.1.0 and 12.1.1.

 

Hardware Failover Instructions for 12.1.1 or 12.1.0

1. Primary is Active on (12.1.1 or 12.1.0)
2. Secondary is IDLE
3. Update the Secondary to the new version
4. After upgrade, perform a force failover to make the Secondary Active
5. Update the Primary (Idle) to the new version.
